SONGS WITH WORDS

This first set of songs with vocals I officially released on bandcamp was a birthday present in August of 2023 for my wife Brianna. It features a sort of intro poem she helped me write the last two lines of not actually knowing what she was working on in the long run. To her it was just a poem. The second song, Sappy Trees, was a Valentine's Day poem in 2022 also for my wife Brianna. It represents the "past" song of the three. The next song is the title track, Stitched Together, which is a poppy punk song representing the present. The last "future" song is another themed song called Blank Paper.

The actual very first recording for her was a cover and remix of the cover of her favorite song, "Mad World." It was originally written by Tears for Fears but my version is closer to Gary Jules' version from Donny Darko.

There are a couple other songs I'm going to include called "Porcupine" and "Late Grave." Porcupine was recorded in 2001 instrumentally and this poem with the same title was "sang" over the top of it a few years later with other noises (and stuff that didn't belong) later on.

"Late Grave" was 2023 and was originally music from my 1996 band Noose with new words pertaining to an old member of the band. The words were messed up and I may record it again who knows.
