MALADAPTIVE HUMANOID
return to music

Maladaptive Humanoid is basically the second half of "Connect Te Dots" from 2001 with a lot of filler and bonus stuff as well. "Black Melody," for example, has three included versions with the absolute original being on a seperate release, "Lost Relics." "The Storm" is actually my second version since the first, also on "Lost Relics," came out sounding too much like the band Tool.

This release, muich like the previous, has new interludes added as well. Somewhere Else, Silt, Beautesque, Death's Vanity, Ghosts Intro, and Newbourne Identity, were all added at the era of release. Two of the three tracks I recorded in 2003 with a friend named Will henry are also included here. They are "Frozen Time" and "Interdimensional." The third, "Poles Shift," again, is on "Lost Relics."

Black Melody's three versions are the newest 2018 remake of the 90's track with its original intro restored finally from memory. The synth test version from 2016 is the second, but I had never gotten around to adding the guitar I wanted and lost interest in doing so. Then there's the 2003 "darker" mix called "Pitch Black Melody." This version once had extremely dark lyrics for it saved if there ever comes a time to record any vocal tracks.

"Asshole" was new in 2001 and wasn't a reworked 90s track. This was my 1st attempt to make actual "industrial" sounding stuff, sort of. "Manipulation" also once had lyrics with Will Henry helping with vocals. "Connect The Dots," in the 90s, was acutally from 3 song ideas on tapes I lost, one of which being called "This World."
