"Somnium" was created in 2018 as a short 5-track (technically 7 since the first is 3 in 1) mini-album. My own mom was always looking for sleep music or ways to sleep that gave me this idea long before I actually made it. My first suggestion to her was Nine Inch Nails: Ghosts I-IV but it proved to be too creepy and eerie for her taste. So I made a more "pretty" sleep album. The original title for this was simply "Angels: Music To Sleep To."
